According to statistical analysis, animosity towards Muslims in Britain has increased over the past few years. The problem may be as old as Islam itself, but one cannot fail to have noticed the increasing controversy surrounding the public's perception of Islam and Muslims as a result of ongoing world affairs.
The Islam & Muslims Training endeavours to provide an insight into the Muslim culture; their beliefs; their practices and the issues that Muslims and those in contact with them can expect to face and endeavour to overcome.
Objectives
Prevent racial and cultural stereotyping of Muslims through understanding of cultural and religious needs and issues
Promote confidence and competency of employees when working with Muslim clients and staff in the organisation
Identify mechanisms to develop culturally sensitive service provision within your area of work
